Our apartment is located on Calle Sarandi which has been converted into a wonderful pedestrian walk with a wide variety of restaurants, shops including a wine shop across the street and venders selling local crafts. The location is easy walking distance to Plaza Independencia, Teatro Solis, the Mercado (famous for fabulous grilled meat), the port with ferry connections to Buenos Aires, many kilometers of great beaches, and much more. All photos are of places within easy walking distance of the apartment.

Our apartment is located in the Ciudad Vieja or 'Old City' part of Montevideo. The area is rich in history with wonderful European architecture and craftsmanship from the early 1900's. Pedestrian access to many parks, shops, restaurants, and cultural features nearby. Bus lines are about 2 blocks away for access to all of Montevideo and the bus terminal for transportation to all parts of the country. Automobile parking in adjacent to building.
