The surroundings of Porlezza are excellent for trips. Porlezza itself is a picturesque village located on the Lake. The Lugano Lake is the smallest of the three great lakes in the area. The Lake can be visited in a day driving by car. You can also visit the picturesque Gandria, Morcote, Bissone. From Porlezza you can make a boat trip and visit the villages on the Lake. The market in Porlezza is also worth a visit. Lake Como is known for its large villas, these form a special attraction to the Lake. The Lake is 46 km. From Como you can use the funicolare, the cable trace for a ride up to the top of Mount Brunate. The view is very beautiful. From this height you can see the Roman and medieval ground plan of the old town. The great city of Milan is also well worth a visit.

The camp covers an area of 110,000 square feet at the Lugano Lake. Along the Lake is a slowly descending fine pebble beach. The water of the Lake is clean and nice and warm in the summer. At the reception is Italian, German and English spoken.
