Ideally situated for exploring NW Highlands, for walking in the hills for miles, for exploring the castles of Skye and Eilean Donan to the South and Torridon and Appleross to the North with Gairloch and Ullapool beyond. Only an hour and a half from Inverness. Lots of lovely places to eat nearby, in Lochcarron and elsewhere. Fascinating arts and crafts trail to explore. Take a boat trip in Plockton to see the seals in Lochcarron. Wild life - red deer, golden eagles, pine martins. Go fishing if you want, for brown trout or salmon.
