Something I definitely have to visit in the village is the Botanical Garden Troodos a. g. leventis, located at the top of the mine there was asbestos, i.e. Over Asbestos. In the garden, visitors can see up to the most rare plant species on the island, to learn the history and see relevant images, film for the mine, be informed of everything related to the flora of the place, but also of the garden. Descending towards the village from Karvounas, at the entrance of the main village is built the monument to Heroes of the community that is dedicated to the hero Evagora Papachristoforou. Something worth going to see the walls, which are high, with nested designs in stone and skaleymeni are everywhere in the village. If you choose to walk the nature trail of the village, you will have the opportunity to view the renovated den of EOKA, which lies in the middle of the path.
