Welcome to Flat No.9, a two bedroom, first floor, well appointed property in Inverness, just a stone’s throw from the city centre. Situated in the quiet residential area known as Crown, up above the main hustle and bustle of the shops, but only a two minute walk to get to all that the Capital of the Highlands has to offer. If it’s a pure city break or perhaps a base for touring the area that you are seeking, then it is perfectly placed. You can easily walk to all restaurants, theatre, cinema, music venues, shopping etc. Indeed, why not leave your car at home and come by train....hassle free. In addition: the owners are Ed and Leah Ley-Wilson. We live locally and are very happy to help with advice and ideas on where to go or what to do during your stay. We know both the town, the immediate area and the wider Highlands well.

Inverness is the capital of the Highlands of Scotland. Only a few miles from the iconic Loch Ness, the city also boasts the opportunity to visit castles, ancient battlefields (Culloden), white beaches, mountains, golf courses and tumbling rivers all close by. You can go dolphin watching in the morning, climb a hill in the afternoon and then enjoy a show at the theatre that evening. Visitors to Inverness love the clean air, the open vistas, the wonderful wildlife on our doorstep, boat trips on Loch Ness, wandering around ancient castles and soaking up the rich Scottish traditions including our lively music scene which can be found in any number of pubs in the area. Within the city itself everything is close by and within walking distance. Theatre, restaurants, traditional music pubs, museum, riverside walks, cafes etc. are all within easy reach.

The flat is easy to find and the owners will send you a map to help you find your way. Inverness, although a city by name, is actually a small town and finding your way out and about is really easy. We are well served by an international airport and train and bus services too.
