Welcome to Valle d'Aosta. Champorcher Valley is located in one of the most beautiful Italian regions, the Valle d'Aosta. The Valley of Champorcher Valley that is the first on the left entering in Valle d'Aosta, on the right bank of the Dora Baltea near the municipality of Bard (400 m s.l.m.) in which stands the majestic Fort. The Valley of Champorcher is covered entirely by the Ayasse stream. Some areas of the Valley of Champorcher are part of the Parco Naturale del Mont Avic, which extends to 5,747 hectares. By the municipality of Champorcher winding trails to lakes, hills, and forests of the Park, where numerous examples of alpine flora and fauna, even rarer species. From Champorcher also L'Alta via della Valle d'Aosta No. 2 comes up in Courmayeur. It is also called high nature, because in the first part of the route goes through the regional park of Mont Avic.

The hut is easily accessible via the motorway A5, exit at Pont-Saint-Martin and follow the national road 26 towards Aosta. Passed the village of Bard, after about 1 km, at the roundabout turn left and go up the Valley for 9 miles where lies the village of Pialemont.
